BELLEFONTE -- Another game and another win for the Bellefonte girls’ soccer team as the Lady Raiders tossed an 8-0 shutout at Philipsburg-Osceola Thursday night.

With the win, Bellefonte now moves to 11-2 overall, still unbeaten at 11-0 in league play.

Kristin Buchanan continues her outstanding play as she recorded a pair of goals for four points, while junior Ashleigh Turner also scored multiple goals for the Lady Raiders with a pair of shots that wound up in the net.

Other goal scorers for the Red & White were Morgan Brooks, Devin Kos, Madisen Paige and Lydia Musser.Chipping in with assists were Emily Martell and Kristin Dobransky.

The Bellefonte keepers were hardly tested as Brooke Redfern, Emily Jabco and Nicole Peggs combined to make just one save in the match.

While scoring the eight goals to nil for the Lady Mounties, Bellefonte enjoyed a huge advantage in shots at 19-1.

In the junior varsity match, Bellefonte scored another shutout by blanking the P-O jayvees 3-0.
